Japanese Council for Medical Training (JCMT)

Japanese Council for Medical Training (JCMT)

This project invites doctors from overseas such as South East Asia and the Middle East and trains them in the latest Japanese medical technology. This international contribution program, initiated in 1982, aims to contribute to improving the medical standards in doctors’ original countries and enhancing mutual friendship through this training. We have supported this training program (JCMT program) by implementing it at our facilities for over 30 years since its conception, along with the support of other facilities and corporations.

Every year approximately 10 doctors undergo training under the JCMT program at departments in our hospitals according to particular specialties and issues. As of March 2013, a total of 302 Fellow doctors from 16 different countries have received this training. Medical instructors at our hospital are also in giving lectures and practical instruction on medical techniques at the original universities and hospitals of Fellow doctors under the JCMT program.
